Alan T. Nov 14, 2021 · Hired on Thumbtack Hired on Thumbtack Rebecca is an excellent trainer and very easy to work with. Doesn’t make you feel moronic for not being able to handle your big energetic dog even through she can do so at half your size and weight. Helped us to cover the basics for making walks and such less of a struggle and headache. -Arrives on time and has good communication about the meet.-It’s LA so the price is high, but fair. -Sends a nice summary for you to review and keep handy as you work with your dog outside of the session. Very personable! Always helps when the trainer is easy to converse with and isn’t a stickler about every little thing you do from the get go, but eases you into it. Sep 8, 2021 · Hired on Thumbtack Hired on Thumbtack Rebecca changed our dog’s behavior in just 1 lesson! He was barking and snapping at our other dog, barking at strangers, lunging out the door, etc. Rebecca taught us simple changes in our behavior that helped to establish a solid foundation for all future lessons and training. He changed within 24 hours of meeting her, and even though we thought we would need 3-5 lessons with Rebecca, she was able to get him trained in 1.5! Rebecca is truly a dog whisperer! She’s also super punctual, super communicative, and very fair in her pricing. Cannot recommend her enough! Tried a different trainer without success but Rebecca really knows her stuff and our puppy is well on his way to being a great dog. Her follow up notes are very helpful provide a great review so we can stay on track with what we learned. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Military, vetran, first responders will always get a 10% discount with proof of occupational ID
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will always want to review step by step the process of working with you and your pup(s). Communication and professionalism is held high in my eyes. It is very important that any dog owners knows that a lot of training is on their part. Everything is always individualized.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started K9 training with my Akita and my Wolf Hybrid. My friends saw how well trained my dogs were and asked for training their pups. That turned into referrals for their friends and then it was suggested that I reach out to the public with my knowledge and skill set. All my training has been based on experience.
