According to Bespoke, April has been the strongest month of the year for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, with the index averaging a gain of 2.2% during the month over the last 50 years. That’s much stronger than the Dow’s average gain of 0.73% for any month over the last 50 years. #perspective

On this day in 1982, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed the week by rising 3.66%. This week would be viewed by many as the beginning of one of the longest and strongest bull markets in history.
