🌍 Innovation on the way to better healthcare in Slovakia - beet in Sludge Academy 🌍 Beet was part of the first International Sludge Academy, an OECD-sponsored initiative that emerged from a working group of the fifth OECD Network of Behavioural Insights Experts in Government. The Academy, organised by the Australian New South Wales Behavioural Insights Unit, took us through a year-long training journey of auditing barrier overcoming, focusing on barriers to the use of EU funds for Slovak health facilities (Integrated Care Centres - CIS). 🔍 Our goals and achievements 🔍 Our work resulted in the project "Streamlining access to EU funds: simplifying the pathway for Slovak healthcare facilities - Optimising the application process for Integrated Care Centres in Slovakia". This project aims to simplify the process of obtaining EU funding, thereby contributing significantly to improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare for all Slovak citizens. During the reporting period, 172 visitors visited the integrovana.sk website and 19 of them expressed their preliminary interest through the form ("You are an eligible applicant"), potentially saving time from studying 200 pages of documents. - Simplifying administration: speeding up and simplifying the decision-making process before applying for EU funds for Integrated Health Care Centres. - Increased accessibility: Increased awareness of and ease of access to funding opportunities from EU funds on the integrovana.sk website. #OECD #zdravotnastarostlivost #EUfondy #sludge

Together,we'vedeveloped impactful projectsthat raise awareness about the importance of small actions to save the planet, the environment, and public health.🌍 #Valormed has recently launched another nationwide #campaign aimed at alerting Portuguese citizens to the importance of returning emptypackaging and expired or unused medications from domestic sources to #pharmacies and para-pharmacies.Under the slogan "For a future made of life, take care of the environment today," the campaign reminds us that when empty packaging andexpired or unused medications from domestic sources are thrown in the trash or dumped into household drains, they contaminate the soil andwater, harming the #environment and the future of the #planet.
